Set Design - Collateral Damage - Gordy's House - Kenneth A. Larson

This set involved modifications to an existing house to fit our needs. The primary task was to convert the bathroom for a shower scene. 2000

I made numerous drawings of Gordy's House, especially the bathroom which was redesigned four times. I made as builts and construction drawings. I visited the location several times.

The porch of the house used for the interior had to be modifies to match the porch of the house we were using for the exterior. This required hiding the stone with clapboards and adding a column and a wall.
In the stairway, we added a soffit to simulate a skylight.
Bathroom, 3/4" details. The existing bathtub had to be converted to a shower. This simple set becaem overly involved and underwent many revisions.
